Before you shop vintage, make sure you do your research on vintage clothing, vintage brands, the materials, and labels to look for. It is also important to read up on the store you want to buy from. Read the reviews and feedback to see if they’re authentic. These days there are a lot of stores selling items from fast fashion brands like Zara, Shein or H&M and claiming them to be vintage. You want to make sure that you get your money’s worth.
#2 Be practical
Sometimes we buy unique vintage clothes because we like them, but we never really wear them, and they end up lying in our closets as collectibles. Buy things that are practical and wearable. Study current trends and incorporate vintage fashion in your modern closet to get the best of both worlds!

Since vintage sizing varies and is different from modern day sizing, make sure to ask for measurements before buying. Keep a measuring tape in hand to know your size.

They may be overlooked if they're in a less conspicuous location like the inner lining. Avoid stained garments if they're in a visible location. It is advised to always read the descriptions and check the photos before making a purchase.
#5 Don’t hesitate to ask the seller for more photos or information about the item
It's always recommended that you ask the sellers for more information about the garment in case you are not sure about the sizing or the condition of the item.
